My first game for my mini class on game design. This is my first foray into game-making! "Loki and the Mistletoe" is based on a Norse mythological tale. Thanks for playing!

I really appreciated the small details in this game—the subtle variations in color palette, the clear path leading the player through the story, the clear use of color to indicate interaction, and the variation in landscape.

This game uses the method of exploration as not every interaction is necessary.  The world was effective visually, but could maybe use more interactions to build the story.

(your game was rly cool :D)

- storytelling by exploration, with a little intermission in the end of the game
- there was a theme of finding / talking to characters and asking them questions that would you lead you to discovering more about the norse myths! you could also find little items from myths as well that had little descriptions
- very effective! you got to learn about different myths and the dialogue/writing style really helped to immerse you into the world
- i loved your pixel art for your game!! it was rly cool :) i think it'd be really cool also if you added like thematic music for your game because the norse myths seem like they'd go rly well w/ some mystical sounding music if that makes sense :D

1. Definitely story as exploration!

2. The long path to the end, with interesting intractable objects

3. The dialog  was super well written and immersive

4. None, I really enjoyed it!
